Tiny Lizard Hanging Garden Planter
I mix five colors of clay to give the planter a wood grain look. The pot has a drainage hole in the bottom and you may
plant directly in the pot. I build the pot using mixed clay slabs and then roll clay into coils and form them into the lizard.
The main body of the planter is unglazed so the plant roots will get proper air and drainage. The lizard is attached to the
pot before the first firing and is glazed for the second firing. I use very durable 300 lb. nylon rope coated in tar
to hang it with. There are handmade clay beads to decorate the rope. Your planter will never be damaged by the
sun or water. All the colors of the planter and the lizard will remain the same over time. Damage to the pot will
occur in freezing temperatures and I recommend the planter be brought inside in the winter. The planter may be cleaned
with any household cleaners. The planter measures 3" tall and 2.5"" wide. The rope length may be adjusted
by changing the knot. I use my tiny hanging planters in my kitchen window as starter pots.
